lynch19
I am in a dynasty league and an owner approached me about trading back for Alexander(he traded him to me last year). Here is what he thought at the time Alexander LaMont Jordan(or Frank Gore) Donte Stallworth(or Kevin Curtis) Zach Hilton McNair Matt Schuab for Portis SJax Roy Williams Matt Jones Shockey Carson Palmer Our scoring is 8pnt rush/Rec TD 1 pnt 10 yds 6 pnt pass TD 1 point 25 yard and then there are bonuses at 150 yds rush/rec and 200 yds and at 300 yds pass and 400 yds passing My team is in the signature. He is starting to hesitate and might want other people, how much should I be willing to be flexible? Who can I substitute and keep it in my favor. Here is the highlights from the rest of his team and the link to the league I an He Hate Me and he is Sideline Benchers http://games.espn.go.com/ffl/leagueoffice?...5&seasonId=2006 Him QB: Brees RB: Kevin Jones & FWP WR: Galloway and Glenn TE: WItten and Miller We have 25 man rosters so we have lots of depth and we start 2QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 WR/RB, 1 WR/TE, 2DEF, and 2 K

How many players do you start each week at each position? It's tough to cenceive of a person having P Manning Alexander, L Johnson AND steve smith all on one team, even in an 8 team league. That said, if I could trade Alexander, Gore, Stallworth, Hilton, McNair, and Schaub for the package you present, I would jump on it.
lynch19
I put the staring requirements in there they are 2QB, 2RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 WR/RB, 1 WR/TE, 2 Def, 2 K
lynch19
I drafted Manning and LJ and traded for Alexander and Smith. I gave up Portis, SJax, and Big Ben for Alexander. I gave two RB's, a Def, and 2 WR for Smith, the guy had injury issues.

Starting Manning and Palmer, LJ, Portis, Rudi, S Smith, Roy, Chambers, with Lamont and SJax on the bench? How can you beat it.
lynch19
And if he wants LaMont instead of Gore do you still do it? Edited July 19, 2006 by lynch19
Caveman_Nick
And if he wants LaMont instead of Gore do you still do it? I probably would not. SJax vs Lamont is kind of a wash.
Los Gigantes
I disagree, I would still do it with lamont included. in 2 years, Sjax is a top 5 back. Lamont is not even top 20.
Hugh 0ne
If you could declare 1 keeper on the Minnesota Vikings, who would it be and why?

That is interesting speculation. The evidence of last year refutes that, however.
Caveman_Nick
If you could declare 1 keeper on the Minnesota Vikings, who would it be and why? I've been stumped. EDIT: okay...okay...I was kidding. The choices are not great, though. KRob, T Williamson, C Taylor, MMoore, C Fason, B Johnson. You kind of have to go on faith the the coach is going to stuff chester into the opposing defense 20-25 times a game. I don't think you have a better option. Caveman_Nick
Who should I start? I try to start with Jenna, and if I make it past her then I move on to Jade Hsu.

Caveman_Nick
Shaun Alexander LaMont Jordan Jerry Porter Donte Stallworth Steve McNair Zachary Hilton vs Alexander LaMont Jordan(or Frank Gore) Donte Stallworth(or Kevin Curtis) Zach Hilton McNair Matt Schuab for Clinton Portis Stephen Jackson Roy Williams Matt Jones Carson Palmer Jeremy Shockey vs Portis SJax Roy Williams Matt Jones Shockey Carson Palmer What do you think of this final trade? DO I still do it? Let me know. No. I don't like this anywhere near as much as the players you said you could originally trade. He's upped his asking price significantly by insisting on Jordan, adding porter, and swapping out Schaub for Hilton. He's pulling a bait and switch on you. It doesn't matter now, we talked this trade out for weeks and I bent and bent to where it was where he wanted it and then, he backed out. He got scared that he was giving up to much.
