Azazello1313
so what's the record for number of teams a first round draft pick has been cut by?
DMD
so what's the record for number of teams a first round draft pick has been cut by? Apparently it is a changing number...
NAUgrad
I don't get this signing. Why would they do this if Watts and some of their rookies are looking so good in camp. Hmm.

Hmm. apparently they just want some real cutthroat competition for spots 3-5 (or 6?) between watts, marshall, terrell, adams, kircus, hixon, devoe, woods. i like it, but they're going to have to cut some pretty decent players. Big Score 1
I don't get this signing. Why would they do this if Watts and some of their rookies are looking so good in camp. Hmm. Apparently, recent reports have suggested that Watts, with his bad flipper, has rediscovered the dropsies.
Bronco Billy
Apparently, recent reports have suggested that Watts, with his bad flipper, has rediscovered the dropsies. Truth. Watts with his crippled hand is not going to be a significant factor. I think Shanahan likes to accumulate other teams' failed 1st rounders & take a shot at getting them on track himself. Kind of like the way Al Davis liked to collect Heisman trophy winners. In Shanahan's defense, he's getting some decent if not spectacular results in doing so. I think it's a good move...especially if you think you and your staff are better at coaching than the staff the guys failed with.
CrazedBronco
You are also talking about the man who drafted Maurice Clarett. He has something of a God complex and that is coming from a Broncos fan.
Bronco Billy
You are also talking about the man who drafted Maurice Clarett. He has something of a God complex and that is coming from a Broncos fan. Agreed completely. I hated last year's draft - even though I was wrong about Darrent Williams & he has the looks of a top notch CB. It also drives me completely wild that a guy who is so good at X & Oing offense has no appreciation for having a strong D line - if anyone should know how disruptive a good pass rush is, it ought to be Shanahan, yet he keeps pissing away good pass rushers like Berry & Hayward & then wonders why someone like Roethlisberger can pick him apart on 3rd & long in the playoffs. In any case, Shanahan really has been picking up a lot of other team's #1s lately, it seems. on a side note - Woods didn't pass his physical with DEN - just heard it on local sports radio. Chargerz
on a side note - Woods didn't pass his physical with DEN - just heard it on local sports radio. And so ends another chapter in the continuing soap opera known as "The NFL Travels Of Rashaun Woods".
