Vet
I have both Eric Moulds and Andre Johnson in my local. I didn't plan on having two Texan receivers, but that's just the way things shook out in the draft. TO is my "main" receiver. I'm thinking that Moulds will have a better day Sunday against the Eagles. I think Philly will double AJ more and Moulds might see more 1-on-1 opportunities. I also think the Texans will try to stretch the field a little bit - especially early on - to try to take some pressure off Lundy making his first NFL start. So I think they'll toss a couple of long ones to Moulds. Question, of course is will Carr be able to put it where it needs to be and will Moulds catch it? We'll have to see on that one. Am I nuts for benching AJ in favor of Moulds?
Grits and Shins
Probably not the choice I'd make
MrTed46
The Eagles probably won't double anyone of them as they love to blitz like maniacs..but when they do double I think its going to be a mind game as they both have talent and will double each one fairly the same. I think AJ has more talent and upside at this point (pre week 1) so I would start AJ. Edited September 6, 2006 by MrTed46
timberho27
I might have to agree with you on Moulds. Moulds is a possession receiver, and showed some good chemistry with Carr this preseason. Carr is going to be running for his life this weekend, and probably will complete a lot of 8-12 yd passes to Moulds.
Wolv
While Moulds may get more catches, AJ is more likely to get the TDs
MrTed46
Vet, curious who did you draft first? AJ or Moulds?
Vet
Vet, curious who did you draft first? AJ or Moulds? Its a keeper league - I kept Johnson from last year. Drafted Moulds somewhere in the middle-rounds of the draft.
NavinRJohnson
Assuming AJ is healthy, I'd start him every week over Moulds.

Put your keeper to work week 1 and let his actions dictate his future
BadgerBacker
I like AJ in this matchup. They had similar pre-seasons, but I think AJ has more skills vs. Moulds at this point in their careers.

Doc Holliday
Another example of why nobody should listen to Grits. Johnson = 6 catches for 101 yards with 0 TD's Moulds = 6 for 68 yards and 1 TD I would not use this as a example to say someone is wrong or right. Yeah, you're right. But I'll take the higher scoring player nonetheless.
Doc Holliday
Yeah, you're right. But I'll take the higher scoring player nonetheless. That goes without saying. but Johnson was the primary target and will continue to be. I would of started him over Moulds this week and most other weeks.
