whomper Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 My bookie has a line on 3rd down conversions..For the Bears the number is 4.5..Meaning if the Bears convert five 3rd downs its a win if you take the over..That seems very feasable to me ? Bronco Billy Posted January 30, 2007 Share Posted January 30, 2007 I'd take that in a heartbeat. One decent drive would get you more than halfway there. Even though CHI was #22 in the NFL in 3rd down conversions, they still converted 5.31 3rd downs a game & IND allowed 5.63 conversions a game - worst in the NFL and almost half of 3rd downs that they played against. Anytime you can get action like that with a strong team going against a team that is the worst in the league, and the number seems reasonable - which 4 1/2 does - you should try to take advantage of it.
