cliaz
I haven't looked but is there a way to record from a microphone on your PC into your iTunes? I'm studying for a Cert and I want to read my flash cards into my iTunes and just put that on my iPod so I can study at work.

I believe that you just need to be able to get the files into an iTunes readable format, and then you can import them. iTunes isn't going to do this for you, but you could (probably) do it with Garage Band. Do you have a mac at home?
Big Country
If you can record to an MP3 file, then ITunes can pull that in. But, not sure of what recording software is good, but I'm sure it is out there.

Is the a free DLable one out on the internet that would do it in mp3 format? thanks

I used Audacity to shorten my favorite songs into ring tones a while back. It's very handy for mp3 audio editing or converting files.
