Ursa Majoris
Does anybody know the signifigance or lack of for "90125" Zip code? ETA: Wikipedia says...... The title of the album refers to its original catalogue number, not a USA zip code. Edited March 13, 2007 by Ursa Majoris
PantherDave
Zip code? ETA: Wikipedia says...... They could not think of a name for the album, so, if ya have the CD-look at the #'s on the barcode. gbpfan1231
Yes is a band that I always had some albums and would listen to, but never like my Big 3. There is no doubt my favorite song... Yours is no Disgrace-awesome tune. YES is one of the few bands that I convulse and reach for the tuning knob the second I hear it. Are you whacked to even admit that you like at least one song??? The only band I hate worse is The Offspring. The only single song I hate worse than any YES song is Black Betty. If YES does have a private plane I would hope someone would bam a lam the pilot so it does crash!!

By the way, 90125 was not the REAL Yes. Chris Squire is the greatest bassist ever, and I'm a hugh Rush fan. Geddy Lee is, however a very close 2nd. I didn't care for them when I was in early high school but then really started listening and I'm damn glad I did. The tightest band in concert I have ever seen PERIOD. Their live shows were so tight that it sounded like a studio mix. So without further ado, here's my list. I'll name my favorite from each early album. The Yes Album- Perpetual Change Fragile- South Side of the Sky Close To the Edge- Title track(simply a masterpiece) Relayer- The Gates of Delirium Going For the One- Title track Drama- Does it Really Happen? (If you don't believe Chris Squire is good, listen to this) So to all of you Yes haters out there.. To each his own and oh
Big John
Ya showed you age with the comments-I'd say born in the 80's. 36/37 now And the 90215 is close to 90210, so the zip code anaology plays in.

I remember sitting around a campfire eating those jelly tonka things and hearing Owner of a Lonely Heart. The jelly tonka thing was quickly puked and I did not have an appetite for three days

It kills me how someone that doesn't like the band will get on and voice their opinion. Even that's fine but after you voice you're opinion, stay the hell away already. Don't get back on and be a freekin' tool. Owner of a Lonely Heart is not classic Yes anyway. Even I don't like that song.
frenzal rhomb
its a tad hippyish but i'll go - time and a word.
'canes2004
Roundabout - great song +1 Listen to the bass line as the song kicks in. While not a hugh fan, they are a great band to see live.
Kid Cid
It was kinda cool, I saw them live last year and they did Roundabout as a 12 bar blues. I just love when musicians stretch themeselves like this.
AtomicCEO
Tempus Fugit from Drama LP Side I from Tales of the Top. I guess we have 3. Relayer - Gates of Delium Tormato - Onward My favorite album of all is the "An Evening of Yes Music" double live album (which was technically Anderson/Bruford/Wakeman/Howe). Jon Anderson's acoustic medley of Time and a Word/Teakbois/Owner of a Lonley Heart is awesome. Also, Rick Wakeman's solo is mind blowing. I've never owned or listened to Drama. I should probably pick it up.
