CarryTheRock
I was wondering if anyone heard Pat Kirwin talk about the Saints and Pats making a trade that would give the Pats the #27 pick? I have not been listening. Was curious if he explained this on air and what the Saints would get in return if it happened. LINK 27. **New England (after trade with New Orleans): Anthony Spencer, LB/DE, Purdue -- Even though the Patriots signed Adalius Thomas, Spencer makes plays and is a long-term answer opposite Thomas. Caveman_Nick
It's labeled wrong. He has the saints trading up to the #24 spot from 27, but listed #24 as Seattle, whose pick it was originally.

Now why would we give up a 4th round pick to get a TE when we just signed Johnson.
muck
It makes no sense for someone to move up three spots at the end of the first round this far in front of the draft. If this happens, it'll happen during the draft ... not now.
godtomsatan
That Kirwin mock has several trades in it. Pure speculation to entertain himself when he isn't combing his moustache.
Randall
That Kirwin mock has several trades in it. Pure speculation to entertain himself when he isn't combing his moustache. He has several mocks and this last one does have several trades. Trading up near the top is too expensive(according to the chart) so trades are rare that high.
