NAUgrad
QUOTE TO NOTE: "With the way the team has gotten better in terms of who's coming and who's going this off-season, I'd say anything less than 10 wins for us would be a disappointment." -- QB Jon Kitna, telling the Detroit Free Press about his expectations for 2007 Pretty fun

Randall
You want your QB to be confident. Perhaps he's throwing to Calvin Johnson in a new beta version of Madden?

The Wolf
Come on guys...what do you expect him to say??? That we're gonna suck, we'll only win five games at the most and that the fans should never show up to the games? He should be confident...the Lions have been very active in the offseason thus far and have a very high draft pick. If they handle it right, why not be optimistic? Plus, with two "franchise" QB's staring the team in the face on draft day, does he really want to be negative at this point? Could be a great way to lose his job... Way to go, Jon! Cunning Runt
I heard about this from a Detroit homer buddy of mine a couple days ago and I offered him 2-1 odds for a hundred. He gets Kitna and his 10 wins and anything less I win a $100. 10 or more, I'm out 2 hundy so here's hoping it don't happen.

Riffraff
kitna is a class act, always has been. I might beg to differ during his Seattle days.

That is 4-losses right there.

Looks like you just made yourself some money. kitna is a class act, always has been. Agreed I might beg to differ during his Seattle days. I don't remember no negatives about him in Seattle. I do remember playing behind what may have been the worst O-Line ever next to what the Texans have been putting out there so far in there existance. Seems like a safe bet to me. They will lose both games to Chi and GB. That is 4-losses right there. I don't see them losing both to Green Bay. I see us losing both to the Bears and maybe the Vikings..but not Green Bay.
