peepinmofo
Not a bad deal for Takeo Spikes now.... A 6th from Philly and something else from the Bears. That works out pretty nice... http://www.buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4995

Outshined
Since the time of the trade Walker had demanded a renegotiation of his contract that still had two years remaining, feeling that it no longer reflected his proper market value. Buffalo tried to reach an accord through several means, and the lines of communication remained open between the two sides throughout this past week. However, with the prospect of Walker's rights reverting back to the Eagles on Aug. 5, and little progress being made with the Walker camp, Buffalo proactively struck a deal with defensive tackle-starved Chicago. Sweet, another disgruntled player the Bears can deal with. So Chicago has negotiate a deal with Walker by August 5th or he goes back to Philly? satelliteoflovegm
No, that was worked in the Bills/Eagles deal. The Bears, if you read between the lines would owe the Bills a higher pick if he plays a certain amount. My guess it is a 5th which would be a 4th if conditions are met. YoungBob
Chicago papers say it's nothing higher than a fifth in the 2008 draft. With Briggs in camp, Mike Brown returning, and the deal that brings Walker to compliment Tommie Harris in the trenches...I hope people are taking note and moving the Bears D up their draft charts accordingly. Let's not forget that Dvorcek is looking great so far. We'll be able to float 3 in and out on the interior line to keep 'em fresh just like we can with the ends. This DL is really getting nasty! So Chicago has negotiate a deal with Walker by August 5th or he goes back to Philly? Let's not forget this is how they landed O-Gun from the phins. He was holding out on them as well, got traded and went straight to camp. By all accounts Walker had his physical in Chicago last night and is joining the team expecting to sign a one year deal pronto. Right now, the crazy off-season has settled and the D is better. The distraction now is going to be Benson and his junior year mouth.

This guy is as good as Tank, if not better, and the rest are just as good as Ian Scott....so the DT situation, if all stay healthy, will be very nice. This is huge for Briggs and Urlacher having awesome years once again.

I completely disagree - this year is all about Tommie Harris and Mark Anderson
