Deer Cam

I have two cams on my ranch. Not real time, but digital photos stored on 2 GB memory cards. I average about 100 pics a week on one and over 400 a week on the other. Amazing how much you can learn about whitetail behavior and the life cycle from these things. Plus, I've already picked out my targets for archery season this year. One of my frequent visitors has three distinct and separate antlers. We call him "Trey"....

Ditto, we have 500 acres and have one camera that we move around. We use it at 2 week intervals at all our hunting spots, then move it back to my stand to pattern them so I can hopefully shoot the big guy. Last year we shot two good bucks that were on camera, there were 3 others that were big and one that was enormous, we never saw them come Oct and beyond. I love the cams though.

Hat Trick, you ought to think about adding enough cameras to be able to leave them in one place for at least 3 months at a time. The Moultrie Game Spy 200 that I use is only $170. Compared to the cost of everything else, those cams are a cheap investment in a great season.

Squirrels seem to be abundant in that part of the woods.

:D Thats what I told my friend..I said what is that the squirrel cam ?..He kept asking me to post it and I said not until I see some deer..Then yesterday we saw a bunch and I told him there is a bunch of guys on the huddle that hunt so I figured I would put it up.
