cliaz
Bengals rookie RB Irons out for season Click here to find out more! NFL.com wire reports CINCINNATI (Aug. 10, 2007) -- Rookie running back Kenny Irons of the Bengals will be out for the season after tearing a knee ligament during a preseason game at Detroit. Irons, the Bengals' second-round draft choice from Auburn, is expected to recover fully by next spring, Cincinnati coach Marvin Lewis said. Irons went to the locker room on a cart after hobbling off the field in a game the Lions won 27-26. He was diagnosed with a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. He had four carries for 17 yards, including an 11-yard gain, after replacing starter Rudi Johnson in the preseason opener for both teams. Injuries held Irons to 893 yards last season after he led the Southeastern Conference in 2005 by averaging 108 yards a game. Randall
I'm not happy about that but Rudi looked slimmed down and good catching the one pass from Palmer. Throw Rudi the damn ball.
Big Ernie McCracken
I've read that he's been called out by coaches and teammates for his laid back attitude, so hopefully he plays with a little chip on his shoulder. A few more yards and couple more TD's would be nice.

Not gonna happen, especially with Chris Henry returning in Week 9.

Bill Swerski
Bill Swerski has spoken! As a Rudi owner for the past three years, I'm painfully aware that he's never on the field on third down. I don't see that changing any time soon.

major-tom
Rejoice? That's sad to hear man..... Exactly. If you understand the game you realize if Rudi needs to be spelled on 3rd down, every so often on a series or whenever it doesn't really matter who his backup is. Rudi's value doesn't go up just because a highly regarded rookie is gone for the year.
keggerz
Rudi has had a whopping 2 catches for 4 yards on 3rd down in his ENTIRE CAREER
