Will any other RB get more carries that Deuce would have been getting? I was thinking Stecker, but he's not particularly big either. If it's of any interest, Bush had 7 rushes for 15 yards and 2 TDs The next best RB on the Saints was Stecker with 3 rushes for 6 yards. My only thought is Stecker has experience and Reggie isn't the most durable back. Stecker could make an impact, assuming the 'Aints get their act together after the bye. I looked over the game logs for Stecker during 2005 (beyond Week 5) earlier: 93 attempts, 364 yards, 0 TDs 35 catches, 281 yards, 0 TDs. Antowain Smith was the starter for many of the games after McAllister went down in 2005. Meh, for whatever this is worth. I'd like to say I am staying away from any Saints players to pick up someone to fill McAllister's spot, but that is not an easy option at this point.
