tbimm
With the rash of injuries and now the Henry suspension news why aren't we hearing this guys name in trade rumors? He will be available via FA after this season and chances are SD gets nothing for him. Why are they not talking to teams like the Bucs and Broncos(Probably a division rival issue here) about trying to get a pick or 2 for him? I would be surprised if he were traded, even now. The funny thing is, they said they would use him more this year but the last 2 or 3 games he's gotten like 2 carries. That's probably because they didn't think they'd be involved in close games or be playing from behind so much this season, so far. That said, yes, they really do need to involve LT more. nuke'em ttg
Great Question........the passing game sucks......so why not run the piss outta the ball.......who gives a chit if they stack the box then hit Gates like before....what a waste of two great backs.......... So they dont become the team looking for a RB if LT gets hurt.As bad as they have looked if they rattle off a few in a row they could be leading their division. With the rash of injuies better to be safe than sorry for now....
McBoog
Turner was brought in last year in games when they were well ahead and wanted to shorten the game. Though he would give LT a breather for a few plays, his real work was done in the fourth quarter. Fresh legs, big, bruising style runner, tire the defense, game over. This year, the games have been either close or playing from behind and they have needed to keep their best player on the field. Too bad they haven't gotten him the ball though. piratesownninjas
They'll get a conditional pick for Turner after next season... If he performs the way I think he will, it will be a supplimental 3rd rounder.
