mrbernz82 Posted October 8, 2007 Share Posted October 8, 2007 LT is still a top 3 RB in the NFL. reasons for a bad season: - lost his old coach (from what i've heard, they were really close) - got a new coach (lets not throw norv under the bus just yet, maybe one leg) - new coordinators (phillips and cameron both gone) - coming off a record season , everyone is closing up the middle and making him go outside ( with linebackers and corners waiting for him) fixes - IMO they need better recievers or a new qb to spread out the D for LT - spanos trio and aj smith need to leave town... forecast: if all else fails, i see LT taking a pay cut next season to go and join Tom Brady and the brady bunch for another Super Bowl trip. they creamed denver last night, possible winds of change.... it better or maybe norv turner should be traded back to SF for a draft pick or maybe even a bowl of clam chowder from the bay area.... It should be noted that they had a bye in week 3 last year so that's one less game. However, he's ahead of where he was this time last year in terms of yards from scrimmage per game.
