DROCK_IN_CT
Replaces LJ for a comeback of the ages....... Im in.... Aparently he said he is 90% healthy and looked lean and in shape.... Update: Holmes (head/neck) said Sunday that he is "about 90 percent" healthy, the Kansas City Star reports. Recommendation: “I’m ready to go," Holmes said. After Sunday's 10-yard rushing performance against the Jaguars, Kansas City's sputtering offense could certainly use a little boost. Holmes is eligible to come off the reserve/non-football injury list after next week's game, and he reportedly looks to have slimmed down and packed on some muscle during the first several weeks. We'd still classify his comeback as a bit of in improbability at this point, but Holmes certainly seems dedicated to returning. BeeR
Doesn't he have bad spine/neck verterbrea (sp) or something - IMO he's nuts not to retire. One bad tackle could paralyze the guy. That notwithstanding, I would love to see him have even a decent season coming back and laugh while LJ pouts on the sideline. POS.
FordFairlane
I believe that he's still under contract to the Chiefs for a couple more years. As long as he's rehabbing and trying to come back, the checks keep coming. The second he announces he's retiring, no more ca$h.
