footballjason
Call me crazy, but do I bench Steve smith for Brandon Stockey this week. I am in a PPR league, and Carolina looked horrible last week with carr...This WR would line up for my team with TJ houz.... Do I start stockey over Smith this week. Broncos face detroit Thanks for any input
paulzale
So hard to go against Smith with his upside potential, but I would seriously consider it. Don't know if I would do it though....
kingfish247
Have to start Smith imo.
TOTONKA
thinking of playing galloway over him this week with the qb issues
Rileyrott
I don't have S.Smith, but I am starting Stokley over Coles (inj) and Chambers this week. I like the match-up with DET. In your case, it's a tough call. Flip a coin (and hope for S.Smith)?
whitem0nkey
I would go with Smith
wildbluefan
Take it from somebody who got BURNED , losing by 1 point last week, because I put Smith back in my lineup for Welker last week, buying into that "start your studs" mumbo-jumbo ! A STUD is NO LONGER a STUD WR when his QB cannot get him the ball !!! START STOKELY vs the Lions !!!
pig devilz
thanks!....i'm not the original poster, but theres enough Stokley support here so i dont have to start a new thread. Coles knoggin knock... Edited November 1, 2007 by pig devilz
mibar22
I don't have S.Smith, but I am starting Stokley over Coles (inj) and Chambers this week. I like the match-up with DET. In your case, it's a tough call. Flip a coin (and hope for S.Smith)? Unless your league is a PPR league, I would go with Chambers over Stokley anyday. Chambers is quite possibily the biggest addition to any team right now. The Vikes are a top running D and yes LT is great, but SD will be passing more.. Gates and Chambers strongly compliment each other. I think Chambers will end up with another TD this week and rank up some more yardage. He recieved half of SD's 11 passing attempts last game and that only means that he will be their go-to-guy over Vincent Jackson. And back to the poster's question. This is the ULTIMATE high risk high reward question. Stokley is guaranteed mediocre points and Smith isnt guaranteed anything, but if he does have his game.. expect BIG points. Choose your choice at the expense of the rest of your team and your record. Edited November 1, 2007 by mibar22

Chambers has a huge upside this week against the Vikes. I just picked up Stokley last night off the WW for fill-in for next week's bye (week 10), and got carried away with the Stokley hype! Having said that, I would still flip a coin regarding Stokley/S.Smith.
tonorator
i don't think you are crazy. cutler has looked much better the past two weeks and stokley is fitting very nicely into the offense. david carr ...
