Phew...I was worried this was another sigline-bet invitation. We really need to keep those to hated rivals -- the one with the KC fans was historically lame, as sig bets go.

As an old school football fan myself: how do you knock the historical significance of the first Super Bowl Matchup? :D

Much the same as the Oak-GB game will be a non-starter in a few weeks.

KC and GB both have great fanbases and historic traditions. But when they meet each where an also-ran Chiefs team is playing a Green Bay team where the Packer backers are pouring themselves a nice tall glass of the Kool-Aid but not drinking it yet, the result is a dud of a thread.

Anyone else notice that on that big Driver pass catch - where he laid out, made a tough catch, and was immediately tagged down - Baldinger started to talk about how GB WRs have been great at getting yards after the catch this year?

Sometimes I think the color guys aren't even watching the game.

They seem to script what they want to say and when game action contradicts that they don't change it.

Woodson, Harris, Barnett, Kampman, Lee, Favre should all be in Hawaii IMO.

Let's get Grant some touches now. :D

Yes work on running out the clock.

The Panthers will help by sticking to their run game.

For those who weren't watching, Ryan Grant hobbled off the field. Early report is a twisted right ankle, coach's decision he didn't return. Hopefully nothing major, because he will definitely be needed in the next couple weeks. Even though Brandon Jackson looked about as good as he has in limited work, I'll feel a lot better about things if Dorsey Lite is toting the rock.
