budlitebrad
ESPN was saying that Barnett and Woodson are paying the d line 500 bucks a man to hold the Panthers under 60 yards rushing. They paid them the same amount last week to keep Peterson under 100 yards.

Chavez
Big John may be settled in his seat at Lambeau by now. Should be fun. For us, you bet. Â For Panthers fans, probably not so much.
Pope Flick
Phew...I was worried this was another sigline-bet invitation. We really need to keep those to hated rivals -- the one with the KC fans was historically lame, as sig bets go. Â Â Â As an old school football fan myself: how do you knock the historical significance of the first Super Bowl Matchup?
wcd480
NFL network is talking about how Steve Smith is going to have a good day despite the fact that he has been declared inactive. Â Awesome, straight from the source.
Chavez
As an old school football fan myself: how do you knock the historical significance of the first Super Bowl Matchup? Much the same as the Oak-GB game will be a non-starter in a few weeks. Â KC and GB both have great fanbases and historic traditions. But when they meet each where an also-ran Chiefs team is playing a Green Bay team where the Packer backers are pouring themselves a nice tall glass of the Kool-Aid but not drinking it yet, the result is a dud of a thread. Chavez
Anyone else notice that on that big Driver pass catch - where he laid out, made a tough catch, and was immediately tagged down - Baldinger started to talk about how GB WRs have been great at getting yards after the catch this year? Â Sometimes I think the color guys aren't even watching the game.

budlitebrad
Lee TD! Doesn't get much prettier than that. Â Panthers have no chance against that 5 wide formation.

Chavez
For those who weren't watching, Ryan Grant hobbled off the field. Early report is a twisted right ankle, coach's decision he didn't return. Hopefully nothing major, because he will definitely be needed in the next couple weeks. Even though Brandon Jackson looked about as good as he has in limited work, I'll feel a lot better about things if Dorsey Lite is toting the rock.
