polksalet Posted November 18, 2007 Share Posted November 18, 2007 My plan is to locate a parabolic shaped piece of clear glass and increase inside heat with solar radiation. I plan to have a couple of pieces of iron painted jet black inside the house to absorb and radiate the heat. The biggest variable will be to go out and reposition the glass as the sun moves across the horizon. I am sure I could get a mechanism to hook up to my computer and program the solar ephemeris in and have it constantly followed. This would keep me from having to go outside and lose all of the potential heat gain. Of course I could make some parabolic shaped pieces of (nearly) clear fiberglass and hanging over the windopws and have a similar effect.
