Randall
Bucs RB Williams May Not Be Back Until Midseason Chris Harry, Orlando Sentinel - Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Cadillac Williams' availability for the '08 season is anything but certain. Williams is said to be at team headquarters regularly and fighting to rehab from an injury that is a difficult one for a running back. Harry speculates that the earliest Williams could be back would be midseason. This is the reason RB Michael Bennett was given a new contract today. http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_fo...el-bennett.html
piratesownninjas
I heard that he was down to 174 pounds... I don't recall where I read it so I don't have a link.
Giants56
I believe there was a thread here a while back with talk that it may be a career ended.
piratesownninjas
I believe there was a thread here a while back with talk that it may be a career ended. A lot of different press sites reported that it could be potentially career ending.

That fueled speculation that his football career could be over altogether.

Either way, him being severely underweight due to muscle mass loss is not a good thing for him. It will be interesting to see if he can make a come back. piratesownninjas
Seems like a lot of speculation.... You seem like someone who has his homer glasses on. If the AP reported that the knee injury was so bad that it could potentially be career ending, then months later we hear that he's down 30-40 pounds, I think it's safe to say it's a bit more than just speculation. Where there's smoke, there is fire right?

irish
Unfortunately for Caddy, I think his career is over. He came onto the scene like a bat out of hell but just hasn't been able to stay healthy and now with this latest injury, I'd be shocked if he was able to come back at all. I wish him the best in his recovery and attempted return to the field. Edited February 16, 2008 by irish

I'm definitly a Homer but everything I have seen and heard has been rumors. You said it yourself "we hear that he's down 30-40 pounds" but who honestly saw him??? All I'm saying is that sounds made up to me. You really think this guy is now down to 160 lbs?
