Guest Chappy
any classic hip hop thread has to mention man, I'm not gonna look up each track... Rob Base - Joy and Pain Young MC - Bust a Move Tone Loc - Wild Thing Heavy D - Now That We Found Love MC Hammer - You Can't Touch This Sir Mix A Lot - Baby Got Back Onyx- Slam Oran Juice Jones - The Rain There's not one from that list that I don't like. Good stuff Loaf!! ETA: The reason I didn't mention any of those was because I confused the type of music that I wanted to hear. I called it Hip/Hop but was craving Freestyle instead. I figured it out when I did some searching for Stevie B. Edited April 20, 2008 by Chappy
Egret
Oran Juice Jones - The Rain We used to sing this to girls in college but changed the words to: I saw you and him doing the walk of shame You were holding hands and Your reputation will never be the same Good times. Guest Chappy
Nah, "Rapper's Delight" is a solid 2nd place. That is a solid little number but I still think that "Rapper's Delight" edges them out. Good find Chavez!

Guest Chappy
I can't believe no one has mentioned... Run DMC? Kurtis Blow? ....and what you guys know about this? All great songs. I think they weren't mentioned because I was looking for more Freestyle music than Hip-Hop and confused the the idea for this whole thread. Guest Chappy
99? Better than the crap I've seen thus far. I love Snoop. He might have the best rap voice/sound, I've ever heard. You ever catch his show on TV? The opening song is pretty sweet.

But some of that crap you mention is the reason you are able to talk about a video like Dr. Dre in the first place...
