dmarc117
http://www.informationweek.com/news/manage...cleID=208400325 Conservative grassroots group Grassfire.org wants people to waste as much energy as possible on June 12 by "hosting a barbecue, going for a drive, watching television, leaving a few lights on, or even smoking a few cigars." The point: the group wants to "help Americans break free from the 'carbon footprint guilt' being imposed by Climate Alarmists." Grassfire.org says it's skeptical over claims that man-made sources of carbon dioxide emissions -- from automobile exhausts to manufacturing plants -- are raising the Earth's temperature at a dangerous rate. Theories about global warming were highlighted by former Vice President Al Gore's 2006 film, An Inconvenient Truth. Grassfire.org president Steve Elliott, in a statement, said such theories are off the mark. "It's time for Americans to purge ourselves of the false guilt that Al Gore and the Climate Alarmists have placed on us," Elliott said. Are you proud to be the puppet of propagandists who don't have your interests in mind? Why in the world would anyone give anything you say any respect at all on any topic since you seem to sincerely enjoy spreading lies, and hindsight has proven you wrong every time? Are you embarrassed at all by being wrong all the time?

H8tank
But there was one group of scientists that was not panicking about global warming: The astrophysicists. However they were concerned–but for a different reason: they were aware that the convergence of sunspot cycles would be followed by a dearth. Sunspot Cycle 24 had begun in 2007, and it began with the expected whimper they had predicted. A wimpy sun means cold. The nearly spotless sun of the last few months, coincident with La Nina, has accelerated the very mild cooling trend that commenced in the year 2000. So much so that all of the ice lost in the last 10 years in and about the arctic has been replaced. You should be worried about global cooling, global warming would be welcome. TheShiznit
You should be worried about global cooling, global warming would be welcome. That would make sense considering the sun is actually enlarging and losing "steam" so to speak. But like I said before....who knows....lets do what we can and see where that leaves us.
