jjpro11 Posted August 3, 2008 Share Posted August 3, 2008 i havent seen any sort of previews or much of anything over the previous couple weeks.. i havent seen espn even acknowledge that the hof game is being played. i agree with the economy aspect, its a nightmare just looking up at the gas prices anymore. but i think the brett favre thing may have sucked some life out of the hof game. everything i see nfl related somehow has to do with brett favre. i have always liked favre, but im pretty sick of hearing about the whole ordeal. satelliteoflovegm Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 While watching the game I thought about this thread...I think it's hard to get excited for the return of something that NEVER GOES AWAY. I can watch games on the NFL network and talk about players on the internwebbbs. If we started taking about Christmas from July 5th until Christmas Eve it would be anti-climactic. I for one will take the 24/7 365 acess over that feeling of sitting down and getting all bubbly in the preseason. But just like Christmas morning, opening week of the regular season will bring back all those happy anxious feelings.
