piratesownninjas
A sad day in the MMA world As a native Texan, I always rooted for him. One the most intriguing fighters that's ever been in UFC and Pride. He will be missed.
Gopher
That really sucks. It's kind of eery that he commented in his recent blog about dying on his trip, although it be in a joking manner. Too bad... he seemed like a good guy who had overcome a lot in his life. RIP.

Yeah, it was odd reading what he wrote and then having everything unfold as it did. He was just an interesting guy... A jack of all trades that took on a lot of different jobs and what not on top of being one of the greats.
wildcat2334
yeah that is too bad - Tanner was an interesting dood. Very strange how things went down after his comments on his blog RIP
I Like Soup
When my brother told me about this last night, I was shocked. :keanureeveswhoa: He seemed to me a tortured soul from what they wrote about him personally. And yes, the foreshadowing of "Into the Wild" comments is just eerie. Rest in Peace Evan Tanner!

Furd
I can't help but remember how Franklin pounded Tanner's face into hamburger their last fight.
