Balzac
can anybody who saw this game verify whether Roddy lost a fumble at any point?
piratesownninjas
can anybody who saw this game verify whether Roddy lost a fumble at any point? Yep, he lost a fumble. Truth be told it was a bad call and should have been an incompletion all together.
SuperCharger
Yep, he lost a fumble. Truth be told it was a bad call and should have been an incompletion all together. They don't do the stupid "Football move" anymore. Roddy caught the ball clean and got two feet down before coughing it up.

SuperCharger
you sure it wasn't? box scores I see say no lost fumble but yahoo scoring is docking him points . . . The whole play was messed up, especially since the refs got the initial call wrong. Roddy fumbled and it was recovered by TB. TB then did an illegal forward pass and then coughed the ball up themselves back to ATL. Somewhere in there Ryan got suckered for a 15 yard unsportsmanlike by TB. Roddy fumbled. Balzac
(10:24) (Shotgun) 2-M.Ryan pass deep middle to 84-R.White to ATL 39 for 20 yards [43-E.Mack]. FUMBLES (23-J.Phillips) [43-E.Mack], RECOVERED by TB-21-S.Piscitelli at ATL 44. 21-S.Piscitelli to ATL 41 for 3 yards. 21-S.Piscitelli pass incomplete short left to 59-C.June. PENALTY on TB-43-E.Mack, Roughing the Passer, 15 yards, enforced at ATL 37. Penalty on TB-21-S.Piscitelli, Illegal Forward Pass, declined. No fumble for White because roughing the passer penalty happened while the ball was in the air. White credited with a catch for 18 yards as the roughing the passer penalty was enforced from where he caught the ball.
