justin
It's always nice when the Yankees loose, but when they get No-hit, it's even nicer!

xMRogers
6 pitchers??? I didn't see this til this morning online (was watching WorldSeries of Poker instead of the game) That's crazy - I love it - Torre's comment "worst game in the entire time I've been here" (or somehting like that).... myhousekey
xMRogers:(was watching WorldSeries of Poker instead of the game) And I thought I was the only one who liked that show! I'm still not sure I know all the rules though. Are 1-2 people required to bet on every hand? Something along the lines of a "blind"? Every hand, there's two people that have to bet the "blind" (meaning before any cards are dealt). The small blind is half the big blind. When we play, we start at $1/$2, but it should be relative to the chips out there - it keeps the game moving, cause one player is already "in" on the first hand, and another gets in half price. Everyone else has to fork over at least $2 to play that hand (see the flop). Ensures you don't just get a lot of "everyone folds" sort of hands. Last week was cool cause Jerry Buss (Lakers' owner) ended up 2nd place...
myhousekey
Yeah, saw last weeks episode as well and Jerry was playing pretty well for awhile. Unfortunatley he kept getting bluffed into folding allot at the end.

Yep - that's usual when the pros and amateurs seperate - bluffed into folding when shouldn't (Jerry had one hand that could have one it for him and he folded after already being in about 100k), or even worse calling when they should fold.. We played last night, online (we set up a private table on Yahoo Poker) - everyone gets 100 chips, but we play the tourney for $10 a man... open up a conf. bridge (I work for a telecom comp. so free) - pretty good time - gives us our fix till we can all get together. If your lookign to play a bit - that yahoo game is pretty fun actually - just play for free ..
myhousekey
I may have to check that out. I've never played before in my life so I'd say it's probably best I stick with "free" for now.
