CaP'N GRuNGe
More cost savings announced including 334 cut jobs. Don't think it affects our department as we're already short some people. Have a meeting in a half hour to discuss.
Delicious_bass
More cost savings announced including 334 cut jobs. Don't think it affects our department as we're already short some people. Have a meeting in a half hour to discuss. My company has reduced headcount by 25% within the last year(approx 2,800 down to 2,100 worldwide) Edited January 15, 2009 by Delicious_bass

CaP'N GRuNGe
Healthcare IT....the place to be Well, I'm in healthcare (finance). We're starting to feel the effects. Looking for a big increase in charity care and bad debt this year. Also wondering what will happen with government payors.
darin3
My wife's company isn't doing mass layoffs (yet - they're anticipating some in July) but they told employees that there are no year-end bonuses and no 2009 raises. I'd lay myself off but that would be silly.
