This message brought to you by Fox News.

And now back to our regularly scheduled beyotch session.

Actually it was brought to you by Politico and ABC News, though I know it is easier to try to dismiss a source than it is to defend what is happening.

It was more of a joke of you being Fox News, Perchy....seems all your posts these days are anti-Obama, anti-government.

How bout a nice post of you telling us of what a great mood you're in, just for a breathe of fresh air? Imagine if everyone in the country took a deep breathe, stopped complaining and pointing fingers, and just tried to work this thing out.

Anytime a thread of yours pops up, I inevitably know whats inside before even opening it. Kinda ruins Christmas with that mentality, dontchathink?

Is MSNBC specifically getting some of the bailout money headed to GE? Or are they one of the actual money making arms of a company who is losing money overall? Before that is determined, and specifically before it is determined whether or not Olbermann is not carrying his weight at the station and thus not worth whatever salary he's negotiated, I think any correlation between him and high ranking officials of failing companies who still get bonuses is random and lame.

MSNBC actually made money for GE. Still how that any different than one branch of BAC making money while BAC itself was bleeding? If they took federal money, should the executive at the branch receive hugh bonuses? I don't think so. My point in posting the links really didn't have anything to do with Olberman, but more to do with GE is beholden to Obama, so by extension are NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC. This also lends credence to the rumor that GE execs told CNBC to lay off of Obama.

This is where it is different. If MSNBC is making money for GE and GE is losing money overall, then, first and foremost, GE needs to be pretty damned sure that MSNBC continues to make money. If Olbermann is party of why that is happening and they could lose him if someone else offers him more, they need to pay him.

If BAC had some hot crap manager in one of it's arms who was one of the only guys actually making money and doing so in a manner that looked like it was going to continue, and his contract was up, wouldn't you expect them to do what it took to keep him? If not, they lose him to someone else.

Now, perhaps you had some other motive in posting that link, but all I can do is read the thread and respond to it. Also, the notion that MSNBC loves the left is not new.

There were two links in that post, one of which didn't even mention Olbeman. BTW, I agree with what you are saying, and I didn't have a problem with the AIG bonuses either. BAC's mortgage department is what lost them all the money, the other departments by all I can tell were doing fine, yet do to outrage against executive were capped. Based on this, shouldn't Olberman and anyone that works for GE or it's affiliates be capped as well? Like I said, detlef, I actually agree with you on this, which is why I wasn't outraged at the executive bonuses. Again the Olberman thing wasn't the intent of my posts, the intent was to note that congress and the administration are giving GE tax payer money, it has been reported that GE execs have told CNBC reporters to lay off Obama. So basically NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC have been bought and paid for by Obama and the dems in congress.
