bigrocks
Potentially interesting development.

Ursa Majoris
<bump> Surprised this has slid down the board. Thigpen is a serviceable QB - does this leave Miami better off, much the same or worse, assuming he doesn't take too long to digest the playbook? And will they run more wildcat or less? The Champ is Here
Well they needed a back up, Pat White is there for wilcat and gimmick. Thigpen will compete for number 1 spot though.

Flip_Side
This is great, Henne is complete trash. Edited September 29, 2009 by Flip_Side
BeeR
Henne hasn't exactly had much of a chance, but great move by MIA, stupid move by KC. Thigpen looked really good at times last year and might have ended up their best QB in the end.
Chief Dick
Thigpen stinks. He can't operate under center, and his accuracy is terrible.
MustOfBeenDrunk
is this just speculation ? I was going after Henne off the waver - runs tonight for bye week filler

Well you've seen more of him than me I'm sure, but after a shaky start he did fairly well last year for the most part, certainly better than a lot of other QBs have done in their first year. Not saying he's the next Peyton Manning, but he showed promise. I wouldn't exactly count on Cassell being "it" either. If this ends up being a late-round pick I'll laugh at KC. They should have gotten something decent for him. Edited September 29, 2009 by BeeR
RylenolFlu
Not claiming to be a know it all, but I am from Miami and I know Sparano loves Henne. They spent a 2nd round draft pick on the dude so I'm thinking Thigpen won't see much, if any, playing time unless Henne gets hurt. This move shows just how much faith they have in Pat White as a QB backup.
bankerboy
I think we'll have to see how Henne does this week before making snap judgements. It's one thing to practice all week with the 1st string offense and plan for the game. It's another all together to be thrust into the starting spot during the game. rattsass
I am glad that Thigpen is going somewhere where he may get a chance. The kid is raw, but he definitely has something. I think the Chiefs just made yet another horrible decision at the QB position. Pissed at the Chiefs, but happy for Thiggy.
