Big Country
I head out to Vegas tomorrow for my second annual WSOP trip with my Dad. I missed on doing the preregistration for the $1K Event #3 that starts tomorrow (with a 2nd DAy One on Sunday), but I should be able to register tomorrow for the Sunday start. If I don't get in for some reason, I'll likely play in the Venetian Deep Stack event. I've set up a twitter account to give in tourney brief updates, and I'll check in occasionally to this thread. I won't have my laptop with me this trip, but should be able to log in to give more detailed updates if wanted assuming my Dad has his with him (which he will). frankf
Good Luck. I love the Deep Stack Tournaments, they give you a lot more room to make some plays.
Big Country
All registered. Start at noon PST, Pavilion White area, Table 100, Seat 8. Tim, for the twitter updates, all you have to do is click the link in my original post. I'll try give end of level updates on Twitter with more detailed updates here at breaks, assuming I make the break.
Big Country
About an hour till we start. Having an early lunch now. For those interested, we start with 3000 chips, starting blinds are 25/25 and levels are 60 minutes. They had 2600 players yesterday and ended with about 280 I think making it to Day 2 on Monday, maybe a little less.

Big Country
And I'm out. Sitting at 2200 chips, blinds 25/50, I'm in BB. Folds to SB who makes it 150, I have QQ and make it 550, he shoves and has me well covered. I think about it for a couple minutes, and decide based on his table talk that he doesn't have aces or kings, so I call. He has AK. Flop is 855 rainbow. Turn is a 9. River King. Oh well

SheikYerbuti
In a field that size, get chips or get out. Fine play.
i_am_the_swammi
In a field that size, get chips or get out. Fine play. +1 Nice opportunity to double-up....only two hands better than yours, and just one one offering a 50/50 shot. At some point in a tourney that size, you need to win a few coin flips...bummer you lost your only big one.
