polksalet
I'm sitting in a FEMA course on mapping this mess. These guys are making is sound substantially worse than the mainstream news has done so far.
peepinmofo
I'm sitting in a FEMA course on mapping this mess. These guys are making is sound substantially worse than the mainstream news has done so far. Because it IS substantially worse. The mainstream media is the absolute worst place to rely on news. ETA - I dont remember where I read it, but I saw a blurb about how there are "secret" plans to evacuate the entire gulf coast. Again, not sure where I read it, but we shall see what happens. Supposedly the disperants they are using turn to gas which can be absorbed in to the atmosphere and come down as oily rain. That'd be about as bad as things could get I would think. "Think about every time you see news happen and then you read about it or watch it on TV. They always get it wrong. Yet when you don't see news happen and simply read about it or watch it on TV, you assume they're right."
