BearBroncos Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 Washington Redskins concerned by backfield depth, even after adding Pro Bowlers By some accounts, it appears that the Washington Insider wouldn't be surprised if both LJ and Parker are released before the start of the 2010 season, leaving Williams and Torian as Portis's backup. If that comes to be, I see Torain taking the number 2 slot behind Portis. It's then only a matter of time before be actually gets the starting gig with Portis now as fragile as ever. Thoughts? Shanahan had big plans for Torain in Denver before his last injury as well so I do find it interesting that he brought him to Washington as well. I look at that to realize what poor judgment I have sometimes... Still, there is definitely some talent there if he could ever get right healthwise, and Shanny loves him. Hope springs eternal. If not, well hell, I'll have plenty of room for high draft pick rooks when I cut him, Hardy, and Sweed.
