I arrived at my station facing Penn Ave by the Capitol. The first thing I noticed in direct contrast to the Restoring Honor rally was the amount of trash. There was trash everywhere. In the park where I was stationed, large groups of people would sit down and rest with their signs and water bottles, and then get up to leave … leaving their signs, trash and water bottles behind them without even a glance back. I thought back to all those attendees on 8-28 who had honored the National Mall by taking their trash out with them.

The second thought that struck me was how rude and loud the rally goers were, again in direct contrast to the Beck attendees. Pushing, shoving .. I got run into by a stroller and bike on more than one occasion, elbowed and shoved too many times to count. I overheard several loud conversations about how great it was that they (the attendees) had gotten a “free” trip to DC. Apparently there were over 250 buses from NYC (with dozens of people aboard), shipped here and paid for by Arianna Huffington

Pretty good read: http://hillbuzz.org/2010/10/31/ground-repo...-dc/#more-27271

Redrum and Perch are skuuurrreed of John Stewart.

Watch that youtube vid I posted, and watch the election coverage tomorrow, and you tell me who is scared. I didn't start this thread, the comedy is you. The comedy is your type of liberal that was at that Rally, the out of touch vote for pelousy and community organizer type liberal who gets their 'news' from comedy central.

Wait, who is the one taking John Stewart seriously?

Oh yea, you. Good job on not getting duped.

I am sorry you have to apologize to me again.

Nearly one-third of Americans under the age of 40 say satirical news-oriented television programs like The Colbert Report and The Daily Show with Jon Stewart are taking the place of traditional news outlets.

That is totally false.

It COMPLETELY left out how Obama isnt really "campaigning" right now, but going from hospital to hospital pulling plugs as a one man "death panel".

I blame the left wing media for failing to report this. Please save us Fox news!!!!!
