TimC
We should have listened to McArthur and nuked CHina and N. Korea 55 years ago. +1 kiloton These Asians have been fighting longer than the Middle Easterns. The main problem with North Korea was we never gave them shiny things to make to keep their minds off attacking their neighbors every 6 years or so for the rest of history. caddyman
We should have listened to McArthur and nuked CHina and N. Korea 55 years ago. Not correct...we need to sit down and chat with them. bpwallace49
Perfect . .. just pull the troops out of the unwinnable bullcrap in Iraq/Afghanistan and send them right over. The world policeman to the rescue!!
SEC=UGA
Perfect . .. just pull the troops out of the unwinnable bullcrap in Iraq/Afghanistan and send them right over. The world policeman to the rescue!! We have pulled the troops out of Iraq... Obama said so. On a more serious note, this region of the world is too entrenched in the golbal economy to allow it to devolve into another war. The global economic fall out would be very bad. China and Japan would most certainly get involved, we would get involved, Russia would get involved. We need to really kind of pace ourselves in how we react to this. That is why I wish we had nuked them 55+ years ago, we wouldn't have all of these economic issues surrounding nueking them today.
bpwallace49
I would be shocked if China didnt have a "little chat" with the nutjobs in North Korea. They wont have their prosperity threatened by that moran. Plus they know that if South Korea gets in a serious fight, that the US has their back and will come galloping to the rescue. Bad for business to allow a war like that on your border with no real reason.
TimC
I wonder how fast these companies could re-hire Americans and re-build factories if that region went completely up in smoke? Imagine the boom!!

BeeR
Not correct...we need to sit down and chat with them. Tell them how they hurt our feelings and share a latte. Exactly. That works so well with child rearing nowdays (minus the latte) so why not adults? Besides it's not Kim's fault. He was just the victim of growing up in a bad neighborhood. bpwallace49
Q: " Polls show you would probably win the Republican nomination, how would you handle a situation like the one that just developed in North Korea?" Palin made an asinine comment based on her talking points? What a shocker . . . Maybe she forgot cause she thinks she can see North Korea from Alaska too? Jimmy Neutron
Anybody think it's possible that a Chinese sub EMP killed that cruise liner a few weeks ago? With an aircraft carrier or two headed to the Yellow Sea, makes me wonder...

There goes the left wing media again, with their gotcha questions on the difference between North and South like it really matters. They're both KOREA.
