Big Country Posted November 25, 2010 Share Posted November 25, 2010 Starting feeling under the weather yesterday, so conked out with a nice dose of Nyquil. Sore throat, head ache, body just aches. Gonna go heavy on the dayquil, but looks like the feast I am looking forward to (My mother in law puts on a great spread) is going to be limited to mashed potatoes cause I can't swallow anything (no jokes sickos and TimC) Hoping to get lucky and have medication kick in strong enough to make my throat not hurt so much. ts Posted November 25, 2010 Share Posted November 25, 2010 Try a nice big tumbler of eggnog - 1 oz eggnog, 5 oz rum ... it will compliment the Nyquil very well, and replace the trypotophan effect if it turns out you can't chow down on the turkey. Then she picks up five different packages of meat and puts them all back. Coughs some more, then repeates the package handling with about 5 packages of fish, of course puts them all back. Then I see her in produce. Same thing. Cough iinto her hands, handle as much food as possible, puts it all back. I hope she is sick as a freakin dog today. Hope you get to feeling better BC.
