TimC
Mars space station 'disovered' by California man Not all space exploration requires a budget the size of NASA's or even actual intergalactic travel. Amateur astronomer David Martines claims he was just goofing around with Google Mars when he found a structure he's christened "Biostation Alpha." A YouTube video Martines recorded in which he narrates while examining the site on his computer had reached 1.2 million hits on Monday (June 6) before it was accidentally (conspiracy theory!) taken down. Luckily, Martines was able to repost the 3:29 minute video that, truth be told, is pretty convincing. At least to us non-Mars experts. Scientists -- who have big brains and know much more about Mars than David Martines and us -- claim what we're seeing is just a glitch in the image. Planetary geologist Alfred McEwen tells KSBY.com that he suspects cosmic energy of interfering with the camera that shot the image. "With space images that are taken outside our magnetosphere," says McEwen, "such as those taken by orbiting telescopes, it's very common to see these cosmic ray hits." Martines isn't convinced, though. He says he has sent e-mails to NASA asking for an explanation but has yet to receive a reply.

cliaz
A vast majority of the soil at both of Mars' poles have a high concentration of ice and a chemical (can't remember the name) that builds up in soil from ancient lakes and seas. Whenever the soil is disturbed on Mars the rust color dust we are used to seeing has a whiteish/gray color underneath it. That is nothing more than a pixalated photo of ice or the white soil. If you turn on nat geo there is a show called the death of a rover that shows you about the white soil on Mars.

The Nazis fled to Mars towards the end of WWII and they preparing to come back and take over south central Florida But no, I see pixelated image that isn't very clear
cliaz
That'd be a good movie. To make it great, the good guy savior would need to be Bruce Campbell He could be a retiree in FL who's just had enough! I'm sick of these muther fookin' martians on my muther fookin' golf course. Someone call Raimi, we've got a movie for him.
