Full Tilt Poker in trouble

Question now is whether the sites were rigged to create scenarios where players won and lost at intervals to enhance the rakes/profits of the sites. If so, there could be a class action lawsuit filed by non-US players (since Americans can't gamble  )

FYI...PokerStars also shut down...looks like our Huddle homegames are done

For over 10 years, running a poker site without rigging the hands was, for all purposes, a license to print money. If only Howard, Chirs and company had kept player funds in segregated bank accounts like Stars did, they'd still be filthy rich, except not in the jam they're in now. They deserve to have the DOJ fall on them like a ton of bricks, since they did it all wrong out of either greed or stupidity or some combination of the two.

everyone I new playing on that site pulled their money months ago.

Which site, and was it before the first hammer fell in April?

If Stars, they got their money because Stars made everyone in the US take their money back. As Sheikh noted, they properly kept segregated accounts for player deposits. Everyone got their money back.

If FTP, then they either pulled out before the Black Friday in April when the majors got shutdown in the US, if it was after, they didn't get their money as FTP has not paid their players back.

What's funny in all of this is that online poker is probably one of the only industries where the major players (Stars, etc.) where asking to be regulated by the US government and to pay taxes, etc., and the government refused.

yup still dont get who or what is behind this but you know there is some big money ....
