Menudo Posted October 26, 2011 Share Posted October 26, 2011 I'm not sure what the public opinion has been on X-Factor, but, I've really liked it. I like the format better than American Idol, and they definitely have better overall talent. This is probably due to the $5 million prize and the fact that they are open to ages 12 & up, so, they have more to choose from. Having a legitimate music talent like L.A. Reid to go along with Simon Cowell helps as well. Paula Abdul isn't quite as annoying as she was on American Idol, and Nicole Scherzinger is great to look at. As for the contestants, these are my favorites: 1. Drew Ryniewicz - she has been phenomenal in every performance thus far. 2. Josh Krajcik - this guy has a combination of Joe Cocker & Ray Charles. The guy can really sing. 3. LeRoy Bell - oldest guy in the competition. Great voice. Overall, there is some great talent in there and I'm enjoying it. I find that the only one of these types of shows I can watch now is AGT because of the variety show aspect to it all. Can't comment on this one since watching about 15 minutes of the premiere.
