tgs5495
Will he be worth being a keeper in the 16th round over Carson Palmer or Larry Fitz in the 10th?
BIGDAWGS2
No, he's a volatile player with a great chance of being banned for life. The QB situation is terrible in Cleveland. He has great talent like a Justin Blackmon and you see where he is.
Montana is da Man
Carson in the 16th is a steal in my opinion. I wouldn't keep him right now, there's no telling how good or bad he'll be after missing a full year.
BA Baracus
Give me Gordon in the 16th. You should wait until there is some halfway decent ADP data this summer to really examine the values.

kdko
In the 16th? I like it. There's a lot of upside there. You can always find productive QB's.
jkraft896
How many teams are in your league. Carson in the 16th could be super valuable, but Gordon is a supreme talent and if you there are only like 10-12 teams in your league you can find a quarterback to make it worth taking the risk on Gordon. tgs5495
I am in a 12 team league.. Really appreciating all of the input! Still not quite sure what I'm going to do.
Def.
There are a lot of unknowns in Cleveland at the moment. That along with Gordon's prior offenses make him a very risky asset to bank on. Personally I fail to see a reason to not keep Fitz in the 10th as he has been both good and reliable with Palmer behind the helm. Gordon has the higher ceiling, Fitz has the higher floor. Keeping the higher floor gives you more flexibility in the draft then keeping the higher risk IMO. Odds are you really want him, he'll could still be available in the mid rounds depending on how the ADP is affected over the offseason/preseason. BIGDAWGS2
Gordon is a 15th or 16th round flyer maybe 14th. Any lower is getting into high risk. He's proven he can't stop.

tgs5495
There is also some talk about him going to the Patriots.. if that somehow happens there is no way I can give him up. correct?
Shaft
There is also some talk about him going to the Patriots.. if that somehow happens there is no way I can give him up. correct? If he goes to the Patriots, I would definitely take him. I mean look what Randy Moss did there. I know Gordon is not at that level, but he's shown flashes of brilliance on the field and I think the Patriots would keep him in check. BA Baracus
http://forums.rotoworld.com/index.php?showtopic=579160 He will get suspended again. He always does Except when he doesn't, he is the #1 WR in the league. Write him off at your own peril. Being able to keep him at 16th round cost makes the investment risk WAY lower than if you try to draft him. I bet he will be going in the 4th to 5th round come August. That is a major risk. 16th round is almost zero risk. This is a no brainer IMO.
