Alonso had last been on the 49ers roster in 2020 after he was traded by the Saints while on the PUP list in November. He was never activated despite being eligible, then was released a few weeks later. Apparently not on a roster since then. Saints signed him on August 5th, he participated in one day of practice then decided to retire. League_Champion Posted August 7, 2022 Share Posted August 7, 2022 He was with the Eagles for a cup of coffee back in the day but i remember him being a strange dude.
