IT used to be FOX had rights to NFC visitor's games and CBS for AFC visitor's games. Then plenty of exceptions were made increasing each year. Now no distinctions are made for 2023. stevegrab Posted March 17, 2023 Share Posted March 17, 2023 Yes I recall hearing that this was coming, first it was some "flexible" scheduling that allowed a few NFC based (away team) games to be on CBS and vice versa, now its going to be a free for all. For the average fan that means if you were used to watching say the Browns on CBS almost all the time, they'll be on Fox more often. Last year the Browns had 2 games on Fox, one a traditional game hosting TB, the other was a road game in WAS. Contrast that with 12 games on CBS, the remaining 3 were primetime games.
