skylive5
'Cuz I am going crazy with bated breath. This is what I think I have: McNabb 48 KJones 27.8 JJones 32.9 Muhammad 23.9 Mason 7.9 McDonald 1 Franks 0 Elam 5 Wash 9 Total: 161.5 After a tremendously bad start to my weekend I think this lineup did me okay. Should at least be in the middle of the pack in a total points situation. Doubt many played the first four on the list all at once this week. I wish to thank Bulger, who loves McDonald, for going out and Chandler, who has no idea who McDonald is, for coming in. So much for an outside the box play. Skippy
Good job, Sky. I think you will be a little better than middle of the pack. I am in this week at about 126. McNabb and Muhammad were my best plays for the week but I would suspect that 126 in a week like this past is not going to be very good. Rank prediction for me - 175th. Skippy
Wow! I was just over there randomly clicking on teams. I can't believe how many played Bulger, Mcallister, and S. Moss this week. McNabb was also no secret. There are going to be teams that come in between 50 and 190 points this week. Rovers
I am all but completely out of the money, unless this crazy scoring continues....what a bummer. Half of the players I had picked for this next week went nutso this weekend... can they do it two weeks in a row? At #169, it probably doesnt matter. Some of you guys had great weeks, keep it up! The funny thing is I used McNabb in week one.... I had no idea he would have such an awesome year, I would have saved him. I used Stokley early on as well. My Delhomme gamble didnt work out well at all. If N.O. had only been able to at least stay close in that game...if...IF! Go HUDDLERS! skylive5
I figure I have had my one week of glory. My 15 minutes are probably up. It will be a steady drop from here on out.... but boy, the air up here sure is nice. Heady even. I will have to visit again. No RB's left and Holmes being saved is leaving me high and dry. But it has been fun so far.... can't complain about that one little bit. No bitter taste at all about the FFTOC.
Skippy
I don't think you can look at it like that, Rovers. One week is just that, one week. Sure it sucks to be 60 points out of first but anyone can put that combination together come next week. I know that I did that one time during the regular season when I was something like 500 or so. That one week put me in the top 100 and pretty much made it possible for me to make the playoffs. I'm not ready to concede. I just know it's going to take a little more work and I am going to have to maybe toss my four week plan out the window now.
Rovers
Skippy, more like 60 points out of the money and 90 points out of first. I'll hold out some slim hope of getting lucky for a spot in the top 20, but the 10K is surely out of reach. Yea, I am bummed out, but my week 14 line up has the potential to have a hugh week. So did my week 13 line up!
cantgetright
im finished too. I'm at 175. I have some studs left but not enough to catch up..... I knew it would take luck to win this thing. OA leader got 88 points out of Nick Goings, Julius Jones and Ronald Curry. I got 98 out of Bulger, S.Alexander, S. Jackson, T. Gonzalez, H.Ward, J.Porter, S. Moss, NE Def, Wilkins
skylive5
Gonna be a long 4 weeks total. Can guarantee you that the leaders now will not get 190+ every week. They will have their 80-100 weeks. Just off to a fast start is all. As I am finding out for myself... there are only so many good plays/studs to go around. I did well by playing the Jones kids.... but how many of those choices are out there next week or the week after? Not that many I am afraid. Pickin's are getting slim and week 4 of this is going to be very very interesting on who has what left.

Just off to a fast start is all. 598180[/snapback] Very good point Sky. I spent the better part of the 1st 9 weeks or so way down in the FFTOC pecking order. Picking fringe players I thought with good matchups and saving studs. It kept me in the ball game but not until later in the tourney did I get some nice weeks. It wasn't until WK12 that I got in. Last week I spent some considerable time trying to come up with a game plan for weeks 13 - 16. I changed my mind a number of times, then finally went back to my first instincts. I was fortunated to have a decent week but I also lost Manning and Holt in the process. WK14 is all mapped out but this is getting pretty tough. I'm almost ready to just take my projected started for the next three weeks and toss them in a hat. YEAH, that's it! Wyle E "moe" Coyote, SUPER GENIOUS. Skippy
That's the whole thing that worries me. I have mapped out my starters. I am thinking that my map is going to be a lot like others maps based on best matchups. Look how many had McNabb this week. Mcallister is another great example. I'm just saying that if we all know that Culpepper is best to go in week X, then there are going to be a ton of us with Culpepper points in week X. It's going to be guys that don't have the Culpeppers that plug in the right guy and get lucky, IMO. Culpepper is just and example.

Rovers
Here is what I plan to do for week 14: Manning-77% Alexander-82% J Jones-36% Harrison-79% Driver-92% Gonzo-92% I left one of my WR's, my kicker and my D out, intentionally. As for "announcing" my line up, it's a no brainer.... 23% of the managers still have Manning, and 21% still have Harrison. I expect all of them to play both against Houston, no brainer. JJ against N.O. is also a no brainer, with Dallas still having a shot at the playoffs against the worst D in the NFL. Only 9%, or 18 teams still have Driver. 8% have Gonzo. Of the people who have Alexander left, 18%, or 36 managers, half will play him this week, the other half in week 16 against AZ. There isnt another team that could match this line up, based on the fact that no team has this combination of players available. I figure I need 150 points minimum to get back in it. Manning to Harrison, 5 times! Manning better not sandbag to break the record at home, I'll kill him! With fingers crossed......
Skippy
I am a hugh Manning owner in at least three of my playoff teams. The good thing is that all of the teams that I own him on are on a bye this week while I am facing him in another league. I hate to do it but some of that Monkey voodoo would be great for him and Manning this week as I think you are right in that this is the week that the playoff teams will run him. I don't have him left in fftoc but I do have Julie Jones and I'm sure that you are right again in that just about everyone that has him will run him this week. My lineup looks like it will be a lot different than yours unless you secret players are the same as mine. I am going with Jones but that's the only one that we will have in common at this point. Good luck and happy hunting.
