Glabra
I see atleast 7-8 pass attempts to Wayne on NFL.com and not one reception. Anyone watching the game know what's going on?

Gunther
I see atleast 7-8 pass attempts to Wayne on NFL.com and not one reception. Anyone watching the game know what's going on? 631856 There was one pass where Edwards stepped between Wayne and the ball thrown his way (Wayne was running into the EZ). The last one I saw the pass was a bit wide of Wayne (at the goal line, would have to have been a great catch for Wayne to haul it in). EDIT: I have not paid as much attention to the game as I planned. Edited December 26, 2004 by Gunther
Big John
Closely defended or out of bounds were several of them

myhousekey
Wayne's #'s Thru First 53:30.... 0 catches. 1 catch for 7 yards with 6:30 to play... Last 3 minutes and overtime = 2 catches for 54 yards. Talk about some garbage time!

myhousekey
The crazy thing is if he doens't catch the 19 yard pass on 4th down at the end of the 4th quarter he ends up with 1 catch for 7 yards.
Hurricane Ditka
Chargers just played well, Wayne though came through in the 2nd half.

Anyone watching the game know what's going on? 631856 Chargers had done their scouting well. They were sitting all over Manning/Wayne's favorite route, the 11 yard comeback.
