gilthorp
If the Vikings pull off the upset in Chicago next week, will the Bears still be the best team in football? I would start to think they aren't the best team in the NFC. They are not the best team in football, and never have been this year. The Vikings, however, are the best football team in Minnesota. crispirons
not too many teams in the nfl can sweep 3 game roadtrips against two above average teams and a past superbowl winner. perhaps with a more conservative gameplan the outcome might have been different. hats off to the pats and asante. Excellent point. In the NFC specifically, the Cowboys are no doubt scary and it would be a great game if they came into Soldier Field in January for the playoffs. Cowboys are rolling right now and the Bears no doubt have issues.
URLACHERisGOD
Sorry Gil, but Romo has faced faster defenses than Chicago. Chicago has nothing coming off the edge like Indy's Freeney and mathis, New York's Osi and Strahan. The Bears secondary is a huge weakness still, and Romo will burn the blitz more than once in this matchup. And Marion Barber will be able to run on Chicago. On the other side of the ball, Dallas will win this game. The dallas D will confuse and destroy Grossman. dallas wins 24-10 vs Chicago and anotehr great reg season, playing a bunch of nobodies will be the doom of the Bears once again in the post season. I guess we won't get the chance to see the Bears D tear Romo and the cowboys apart this year. The amazing Seattle defense did it for us. I was really hoping Dallas would win through so we could take 'em on. Guess Dallas is even worse than I thought!

No, they have Alex Brown, Mark Anderson, and Ogun: totaling 25.5 sacks "off the edge." Freeney+Mathis = 15 Osi+Strahan= 9 (+Kiwanuka=14) Before making your usual blanket statements out of your ass, do you ever bother to fact check anything? Then again, your Out of Your Ass Statement won't get fact vchecked itself, since your 'Boys can't even kick a game winnign chip shot.
