hezagenius
Looks like SA's record might not stand for long.
Riffraff
I believe LT needs 2 TDs in the next 3-4 games to break the "fastest to 100 TDs" record by Emmitt Smith / Jim Brown.

Chavez
Well, he needs 8 tds and has 7 games to do so. At the rate he's going, he'll have those 8 tds in couple more games.

ffjunkey
I never thought I would see a more spectacular back than Marshall Faulk...after watching LT tonight, I realize I was dead wrong.
muck
This is an amazing time in the NFL with LT and LJ (and SA when he was healthy) going full bore into the record books ... and having recently had future HOF RBs ripping opposing defenses (Marshall Faulk, Curtis Martin and Jerome Bettis). There have been times in the past with one or two great RBs, it just seems to me like the last 5 years have been the most amazing stretch for amazing RB performances ... Priest Holmes, Shaun Alexander, Marshall Faulk, Larry Johnson, LaDanian Tomlinson ... those five RBs have done more amazing things in the last five years than at any other period of time in the history of the NFL. What a great time to be a fan of good RB performances.
Hat Trick
Yes...he will break it.
Riffraff
Seems like a no brainer that he breaks the single season mark if he stays healthy. His remaining schedule: 12 vs Raiders 13 at Bills 14 vs Broncos 15 vs Chiefs 16 at Seahawks 17 vs Cardinals Not much in terms of run defense on the list. Chargerz
what's the record for most rushing/receiving TDs in a season? Is it also 28? Yes. Alexander had 27 rushing TD's and one receiving TD.
LooGie
Yes. Alexander had 27 rushing TD's and one receiving TD. i thought it was 28 rushing tds and 1 receiving TD. Didn't Priest get 27 tds..so SA and Priest share the rushing record? Well at any rate, I'm pretty positive he'll break the rushing/receiving TD record..and I'm not sure how passing TDs work into all purpose TDs, but that's something to consider as well. bushwacked
So much for LT struggling because of their "rookie" QB and defenses stacking the line.
