Question for Bear fans

Looking for the "It" factor and it appears to me, he doesn't have it.

I'm going OL and TE in the first two rounds in the draft.

I've been rooting for him all year long but not only can he make bad decisions sometimes, he also has an accuracy problem and that is the kiss of death to a QB.

I also think he ain't very smart. :D

They already have a better one than Grossman ... his name is Griese

Yes. I don't want to go back to the draft, I dunno about FA but we do have a guy that can actually manage a game. I don't want to put this all on Grossman, that would be too easy. Some serious questions need to be asked about the offensive game plan too but Rex is sub-standard.

I've been pulling for him too, and I thought he would come through with a good game today.

There's no denying or hiding this bad performance with so many others. In a time that a play maker could have come through and done some special things, he threw two crucial lollipops and this won't be forgotten in this city. He'll have a tough time making it through this here.

He had Berrian open on the bomb with what would likely have been a TD, or at the very least put the Bears in the RZ ... if only he hadn't thrown the ball about 10 yards short making Berrian come to a stop to try and catch the ball. Then to make matters worse ... Berrian can NOT allow that ball to be intercepted.

Since being drafted Grossman has demonstrated a propensity to be injured and to make a big mistake a critical times in big games. His occassional good game doesn't elipse the rest of his bad games.

It's going to be tough times for the Bears in the future as long as Grossman is under center and especially if TJones leaves. Benson has also had some difficulties staying healthy.

Grossman wasn't as awful as a lot of people thought he would be, but he didn't look like a big-time player today.

Griese is Grossman with a bit more experience - six of one, half-dozen of the other. Maybe with a bit more maturity Grossman can learn to limit his mistakes.

I've never seen an NFL QB that reacts so poorly to the most minimal pressure....Throwing all you weight backwards on your back foot while slinging one up somehow got his team to the superbowl. Da Bears D wasn't nearly good enough to bail themselves out again.

The Bears D could not possibly have bailed them out today. Every time they forced a fumble, the O gave it right back. Jeez, the O was off the field for nearly a whole hour over half-time and they were totally spent. Please don't blame them, the blame resides completely on the woeful offense and the equally woeful offensive game plan and play calling.

Yes he was. Two INTs and two fumbled snaps, falling flat on his face going backwards - he looked like he was auditioning for a Three Stooges movie.

True enough and not placing blame on the Bears D, but folks kept acting like they were an indestructable force that you couldn't reckon with. A surgery bound Matt Hasselbeck with a broken footed Shaun Alexander and a duct taped O-line came one play away from beating the Bears at Soldier Field. Da Bears D is exactly who I think they were......good, but not great.

I wish someone would hire away Ron Turner. His play calling was brutal. :D

Turner is being interviewed right now.

"We could have executed better".

"Whenever we got something going, something negative happened".

Same coachspeak crap as always. He was as much to blame as any of the players with some BS playcalling in the second quarter that didn't earn a first down, and the defense got gassed. :D

He thinks "Rex is going one of the best players in the NFL in the future".

What is he supposed to say in front of a national audience?

"Right now, with God and all these people as my witnesses, I am begging Jerry Angelo to give me better than Larry, Moe, and Curly to work with at QB!"

I'd love to SEE that from any coach anywhere but it ain't ever gonna happen.
