I think this would be just what the doctor ordered for the Cowpokes. Imagine RayRay giving TO alittle RahRah lmao. God this would be great theater.

According to the Baltimore Sun, "word around the NFL" is that the Cowboys are targeting impending free agent Ray Lewis and are willing to guarantee him $25 million in a three-year contract.

There should be a good number of rumors this week with lots of NFL people gathering at the Senior Bowl. Owner Jerry Jones reportedly believes Lewis could help solve problems in Dallas' locker room. The Ravens will enter talks with Lewis shortly, but re-signing Terrell Suggs should be their top priority. Jan. 19 - 2:29 pm et

We could definately use a strong voice in the locker room, Im just not sure Ray Ray is what the Boys need. He seems to be slipping, but someone is going to overpay him. I just hope its not Dallas.

RayRay no like TO....if you remember, RayRay lobbied for TO to come to the Ravens, deal was almost done, then TO said "FU RayRay" and signed with the Eagles. RayRay publicly blasted TO for making him look like an idiot for lobbying to sign him.

If Lewis is a Cowboy, it will be after TO is long gone.

I think Ray Ray wants to get back to the Super Bowl. I think he's big enough to get over any T.O. slights. Winning is more important.

I don't see this team under Bum's son getting to the big dance. I doubt he goes there.

Jerry is right about needing a big personality to take charge. Their coach is a bean bag. T.O is actually one of the few players that plays with a fire in his belly but he is too selfish to be a leader. Witten leads by example. I can see Ray taking charge of the locker room for sure. I love his intensity on the field. That hit against Tenn was one of the best hits I saw all year. My problem is the thug element coming back. We just cut pacman which was a step in the right direction.

It will likely be the Ravens. Ray and the Ravens owner (Steve Biscotti) have a good relationship and I doubt that Biscotti will let another team outbid him for Lewis. The Ravens have some cap room to play with and although Suggs and Scott are also FAs, I see the Ravens keeping Ray before signing either of the other two.

For starters, Jones said the Cowboys have already begun talks on a new contract for DeMarcus Ware, whose agent Pat Dye Jr. is in Mobile this week and had a face-to-face meeting with Stephen Jones, the Cowboys’ director of player personnel. Ware has another year before he becomes a free agent, but considering this will likely be the richest deal in franchise history and possibly the biggest for any NFL defensive player, the Cowboys obviously want to get started as early as possible.

Also, Jones said the Cowboys will not be huge players in free agency, which begins February 27. The club has about $10 million to spend, but don’t expect it to go towards any big-named players.
