theeohiostate
All of you MFL users can inset this script into any home page message and you'll have a Roll Them Bones box for your site ready to go Here is the code, the only thing that needs changed, is to enter your email addy in place of the text i show ENTER EMAIL ADDY , leave all parentheses in place <script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript"><!--if(franchise_id==undefined) var franchise_id;else { var diceFName = franchiseDatabase['fid_' + franchise_id].name; var diceEmail = "ENTER EMAIL ADDY"; var diceRolls = 3; var diceMax = 100; document.write('<table cellspacing="1" class="homepagemodule report"><caption><span>Fantasy Draft Lottery</span></caption><tbody>'); document.write('<tr><th>Official Dice Roll</th></tr>'); document.write('<tr class="oddtablerow"><td>Press the button below to roll the dice to determine your position in next season\'s fantasy draft.<br /><br />This is the official roll and the results will be sent to the commissioner via e-mail.<br /><br />Good Luck!</td></tr>'); document.write('<tr class="eventablerow"><td style="text-align: center;">'); document.write('<form name="diceSimulator" action="http://www.habman.com/mfl/apps/dicesimulator.php" method="post" target="diceSimulator">'); document.write('<input type="hidden" name="email" value="'+diceEmail+'">'); document.write('<input type="hidden" name="rolls" value="'+diceRolls+'">'); document.write('<input type="hidden" name="max" value="'+diceMax+'">'); document.write('<input type="hidden" name="fid" value="'+franchise_id+'">'); document.write('<input type="hidden" name="lid" value="'+league_id+'">'); document.write('<input type="hidden" name="fname" value="'+diceFName+'">'); document.write('<input type="submit" value="Roll the Dice">'); document.write('</form>'); document.write('</td></tr></tbody></table>');}// --></script> You can see it function on a test site i set up http://www16.myfantasyleague.com/2009/home/49127
i_am_the_swammi
Sounds phenomenal, but I couldn't find the link/message on your test page.

KevinL
right atop the page on the main tab I'm not seeing it either. Is it on the menu, a separate link, a button, ... ?
Bronco Billy
Seems easier to use a site like evil dice, no?
i_am_the_swammi
right atop the page on the main tab I'm either blind or stupid...maybe both....but I still can't find it. There is a bar that says "testing"....and below it, several tabs in this order: Main, Team Sites, NFL Schedule, Depth Chart, Champ pages, teampages, carousel Rotator, Depth Charts #1 No sign of "Roll Dem Bones" on any tab at the top of the page, either. Robash
interesting, anyway to lock it out after one use so a commish doesn't get spammed with emails? no way to tell if the commish really rolled what he rolled either

Only members logged ontot the site can see the dice roll , so no guest can submit a roll. Other question was answered on email for commish
MikesVikes
I likey. It was much more idiot proof than I had imagined. In fact there's no way to screw it up. That is what most of my leagues would need.

Any help for me? cut and paste all script within the code tags listed above. Make sure you advanced editor is turned off when inserting anything into a homepage message. Look for this under the Reports and Other Settings commish setup features Use "Advanced Editor" on league type-in boxes? Set to No Clear out the script, save, then reenter in. Pancake
I likey. It was much more idiot proof than I had imagined. In fact there's no way to screw it up. That is what most of my leagues would need. I also like this over the Evil Dice website because I was finding out (months after the fact) that people would not put in any email address and roll the dice many many times until they rolled around 4 or 5 high rolls (lowest roll - 1st pick) in a row and then they figured the odds are that a low roll would come up next.....so they put the commishs email address in rolled their "official roll". Most of them got the low roll they wanted. This takes that right out of the mix. Hit the button once and your done!
Pancake
OK this works great as long as http://www.habman.com/mfl/apps/dicesimulator.php is up and running. The script directs to the dice simulator at this website. Wondering if The Huddle can host a dice simulator and put its crack coding team on this as its likely that The Huddle will be around alot longer than this other website.? What do you say DMD?
