Cy_Hawk
Ryan Mathews.... Taken in the top 2 Rds in the vast majority of drafts & he has done literally nothing to help anyone win a singe game this year.

Furd
Well, bust is a nebulous term (as is stud) which makes for interesting discussion. It seems to me that you are comparing points scored to draft position. I think that its diffuclt to call anyone typically drafted after the 5th round (maybe sooner) or so as a bust, because your expectations should be lower. IMO, poor performance due to significant injuries doesn't count. At RB, I think that Rice, MJD, D. Williams (injury problems?), Mathews (injury?) and Greene are definite busts. In the case of the former 2, you didn't spend a top 4 pick expecting an RB with a rank of 14 or so. Williams and Mathews were likely second round picks. I think that you need top 20 numbers out of a second round RB pick at least. i think that Chris Johnson is more of a bust than Wells. You expect more than a #7 RB with the fisrt pick of the draft. Did you guys really expect that much from Wells? At QB, I think that you may have Brady (probably) and Scaub (probably not). I think that your expecting top 5 numbers from a QB round 3 or before. Schaub was drafted later, so he gets more of a pass. At WR, A. Johnson, R. Moss, Fitzgerald and Steve Smith (south) come to mind. You didn't draft Johnson in the middle of the first round for him to be #12 or 13 in WR scoring. At TE, probably only Brett Celek. I don't think that Gonzalez was drafted early enough. puz
Pierre Thomas was hella good before he got hurt. I wouldn't call him a bust by any means. The other two were not high picks... so I wouldn't consider them bust unless you took them in say round 3. huh?...regardless of the situation. P.T. is a TOTAL BUST....he has a total of 34 pts in my league. I'd say smith(panthers) is defly a bust as well. he had 2 gg's and that was week 1 and 2. Also, ryan mathews, shonne green, D. williams, beanie wells, jon. stewart. Edited November 11, 2010 by puz
Pistolkid
Ryan Grant He is the reason I have 4 or 5 mediocre running backs on my team now. Edited November 12, 2010 by Pistolkid

yomjoseki
I was unfortunate enough to draft both Randy Moss, Shonn Greene, and Brent Celek in rounds 2, 3, and 5 of my league. Fortunately, I've managed to stay alive through picking up Peyton Hillis, LeGarrette Blount, and Jacob Tamme. Also, I was an idiot and dropped TO after two weeks. Worst cut ever. That really stung because I'm normally the most patient guy in my league. I mean, I held onto Shonn Greene, Ronnie Brown, and Pierre Thomas for over half the season. FWmaker
Even though his projected value was a bit further down than many listed here, Devin Hester is playing the invisible man this year. Another bust this thread has ignored so far is Puddy.
McBoog
B. Marshall is sort of busting lately, especially if you took him in the 2nd round like many people. T. Gonzalez is the 9th or 10th rated TE in any scoring system. He's lacked a little punch, sure, but some got him in the 7th round. No bust there. I think Ryan Mathews is the kind of massive bust that people will never forget. DeAngelo too, although people will forget 2010 quickly if he ends up with Green Bay or Miami or New England next year. As far as Mathews, you are speaking from the FF perspective, right? I agree here! He legitimately got his ankle rolled up on (could see it in the replays and looked ugly enough to think he would be gone for the year) and has played with other booboos. Get this year behind him and we can start questioning the validity of the pick next year. He does run angry and last week showed some of the burst the Chargers need in their style of offense.
