Chris Kluwe's response to Goodell

We hear the rhetoric coming from the players side that "if they just showed us the books and proved that they were losing money, we would be reasonable."

What we don't hear is this: "If they showed us the books and that they are losing money, we would definately agree to cut our percentage in order to keep the league healthy and prosperous."

I just have this sneaking suspicion that the players might get that info and instead say, "Well, we are not the problem here. You will have to take the cuts from your side. We have done nothing to deserve a pay cut." ....................yeah, and neither have thousands of other Americans since 2008.

Unfortunately if their books were opened, it would just be hilarious to look at.

If these owners are losing money, why such drastic cuts all at once? And what at a worse time too when you consider the Dallas Cowboys stadium, all the other recently built flashy stadiums, and the amount of money the teams were willing to throw at rookies and vets to keep them away from a division rival. For people with such a high amount of responsibility handling so much money, why would the owners spend to make it seem like the league is growing, when they say they are losing money?
