Sunday Couch Potatoe
Whew.. Omfg that was close. God I hate the Patriots. My first thought when that happened was you curled up in the corner of your room in the fetal position sucking your thumb and rocking back and forth chanting why me WHY ME!!!! Ursa Majoris
4th and goal from the 4 yd line, really Belichick? Why not? He wanted to give Vereen a shot. He coaches the Patriots, an NFL team, not the Little Sisters Of Mercy. Wanna keep the score down? Stop them.

I think he could have shown some class and not go for it with the game so in hand. You're right though that is Belichick.

Good point about Hernandez but I still don't have any sympathy with the whole idea of the mercy rule in pro sports.
Ditkaless Wonders
I was just glad to see that Vereen is still on the team. I have a bit of an nvestment in the guy in a dynasty league and I thought he had wondered away from the team and was hanging out at some "Occupy" site. Ditkaless Wonders
Esp against kc. Who watched to the bitter end in hopes of seeing todd haley explode? I admit I was hoping for a post game handshake Kerfuffle. Edited November 22, 2011 by Ditkaless Wonders

nelsosi
4th and goal from the 4 yd line, really Belichick? Is this Pop Warner football? Should they take a knee? The Lions rolled up more points late in the 4th against KC in Week 2....I remember people crying about that too. This is pro football - if the Chiefs don't like getting scored on, maybe they should try playing better D.

It's seems like for the most part only the non-fans of whatever team is "running up the score" complain about it.

nelsosi
I was down 15 with only the Pats D left, and my opponent had Welker and Bowe. I had already conceded defeat. Cue the come from behind win.
